1. Who we are

Recover with Jesus is operated by RecoverwJesus ("we", "us"). For the purposes of data protection law, RecoverwJesus is the data controller responsible for your personal information collected through recoverwithjesus.com and recoverwjesus.com.

2. Information we collect

Contact details — first name and email address you provide to receive your reflection or workbook.
Reflection inputs — the answers you give to the reflection questions.
Order information — purchase records (product, amount, date) returned to us by Paddle. We do not collect or store your card details.
Technical information — IP address, browser/device type, and basic usage data, collected automatically through standard server logs.
Communications — emails you send us for support.

3. How we use it

To generate and email your personalized reflection (contract performance).
To deliver digital products you purchased and provide download access (contract performance).
To respond to your support requests (legitimate interests).
To prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues (legitimate interests).
To comply with legal and tax obligations (legal obligation).
To send occasional follow-up encouragement emails, only where permitted, with an unsubscribe link in every message (consent / legitimate interests).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, handles tax, issues invoices, and manages refunds. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — used to run the website, database, and authentication.
Email delivery provider — used to send reflections, workbook download links, and transactional emails.
AI provider — your reflection answers are sent to a large language model provider solely to generate your reflection text; they are not used to train models.
Authorities — where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your contact details and reflection records for as long as needed to provide the service and to keep your purchased workbook accessible via your permanent download link. Order records are retained for the period required for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years). You may request deletion at any time using the contact details below.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Paddle and our hosting providers) may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

access the personal information we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of your data;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from emails) at any time;
request a copy of your data in a portable format;
lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
